Fresh Start Equestrian is a premier lesson facility focusing on dressage and eventing. Our priority is on providing, and teaching, quality horse care and creating knowledgeable students and future horse owners. Our School Horses
We offer lessons geared toward the Adult Amateur (though we have kids lessons too!), teaching all aspects of horsemanship. Whether the students' goals are to compete, prepare for horse ownership, or just enjoy time away from the city with these amazing creatures, we will help you toward them. We will offer in-house mini-shows, as well as trailering to and coaching at local schooling shows. Our wonderful school horses: Luna, Sky, Mosey, Fledge, and Tango look forward to guiding you through the basics of Balanced Seat riding.
Boarding & Training
While we do not have space on property for boarders, Jessica Schaberg is available to come to you for lessons and training rides! Jess is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, and has been ICP- Level 1 Certified to teach eventing. She specializes in retraining Throughbreds and has a calming demeanor and relatable explanations.
